I was going to write about my most anticipated game of 2018, but I played 136 hours of "Red Dead Redemption 2" instead

I was highly anticipating "Battlefield V," the newest entry in my favorite game series, and I've had a copy for weeks now.  But "Red Dead Redemption 2," this year's blockbuster Wild West game, stole its thunder — at least for me.  "Battlefield V" is still a great game, but it's competing for my precious time with "Red Dead Redemption 2." And let me tell you that it takes a lot to drag me away from my beloved "Battlefield."

I’m probably the biggest “Battlefield” fan in the office, and yet, I’ve neglected "Battlefield V," the latest entry in the war-gaming franchise, since I got an early copy ahead of its November 20th launch.

11 signs you're about to get a holiday bonus

Everyone wants to have their hard work recognized with a holiday bonus. But thanks to vague company policies, it's not always clear whether or not you'll earn extra cash. Still, indications like a positive relationship with your boss and a company-wide hiring spree are good signs.

Year-end bonuses can make for a nice stocking stuffer around the holidays.

But they can also be a source of major stress. Many companies don't have a concrete policy regarding bonuses, so you never really know exactly what you're going to get.

This is especially troubling considering the fact that sources of "variable pay" like bonuses are increasingly eclipsing raises,

32 electric cars you'll see on the road by 2025

Apple wants more iPhone owners to upgrade to the XR and XS — and it just unveiled a new promotion in time for the holidays (AAPL)

Apple is currently offering up to $100 extra in credit when you trade in an old iPhone for the iPhone XR or XS. If you trade in an iPhone 6S, for example, Apple will give you a $200 credit rather than the usual $100, which you can put toward a new device.  The offer comes amid reports that sales of the new iPhones, the XR and XS, have been lagging.

If you’ve been mulling over a new iPhone purchase, now’s the time to go for it.

For a limited time, Apple is offering up to $100 extra in credit if you trade in an old device through its Giveback program. For anyone with an iPhone 6, 6 Plus, or 6S in particular, this is a sweet deal: Apple is offering twice as much credit as it usually does for those devices.

2018 was one of the best years ever for documentaries — 4 of which ruled the box office and blew away critics

2018 was one of the best years for documentary films ever. Four documentaries in 2018 are among the top 30 highest-grossing documentaries of all time. They are also some of the best-reviewed movies of the year, all with Rotten Tomatoes critic scores above 90%.

But one film genre that often goes overlooked has had one of its best years ever, both in terms of box office and critical acclaim: documentaries.

Self-driving cars might allow you to get out of driving across town to Costco, but it doesn't mean fewer vehicles on the roads.
